New year new bugs


After a great break with family over the festive period I’ve built up a huge desire to get to work fixing bugs from my backlog. I’ve managed to address some animation quirks for cards returning to the hand (they were returning to an index in the heirarchy and so…actually all the cards would return to one position).


I’ve also discovered the cause of an issue that’s been driving me mad! Sometimes I’ve found that I’m unable to close the map but only sometimes and even opening and closing decks could trigger this. Turns out that my placeholder shop was not calling the appropriate reset method and that combats and adventures do and this was causing all kinds of havoc.

On a related note, i think the next big feature after squashing the top bugs, will be a proper dynamic shop. I want to incorporate an element of gambling too, nothing is more frustrating than being just short of being able to buy a cool item so i would love to let people risk losing good cards/items to get a little extra cash.

Cant wait to build this, should really give players a lot more control over their deck and a chance to see some of the rater cards and test them for me!
